Well Tiger enters this weeks’ Accenture Match Play Championship with a hot hand and a 7 match PGA win streak still alive. What does 2007 hold for men’s professional golf and who will dominate the tour if anyone does?

Phil Mickelson has a win, Tiger is hot, who else is lurking. I am really excited about 2007. Maybe it’s just because for me it was a long winter with too little golf. I don’t know but I have a feeling that someone is going to jump up and really push and possibly know Tiger off the top, if even for a short while.

I like either Adam Scott or Charles Howell to maybe make a big move in 2007. Both are coming off good years and seem to be entering 07 with the right golf game and the right frame of mind.

Frankly, I just don’t see Ernie or Phil or Vijay doing anything but going down a little this year. Just my gut, no hard data, so it’s opinion and nothing else.

Some are still saying that Tiger is ducking golf tournaments, but if he is he is in good company with most of the other big names. That is why I think that the Fed Ex Cup, as it evolves, might have a chance to change this some.

But, no matter what, it’s getting warmer and the golf courses are calling to us. And yes, golf nuts, I know that I owe you some articles on stretching and weight training and they are coming, I promise!
