What Part Of Your Golf Game To Work On?
February 22nd, 2009 • Related • Filed Under
Short game, driver, focus on putting, improve my chipping? I get lots of questions from visitors and subscribers to our newsletter about where they should focus to improve their golf game. I will be doing an article on this shortly, but I wanted to get feedback from all of you other golf nuts out there about what you think the focus should be.
So here is a short poll for all you about where you believe the focus on improving your golf game should be. Please complete the poll and we will publish the final results later this week.
Thank you to all of our readers and faithful golf nuts and followers on Twitter as well!

It’d be interesting to find out what the answers are for each handicap group

When I go to the practice tee my goal is to establish my tempo. Every part of the golf swing will fall into place if you swing within yourself with a consistent swing speed. My mental key on the range before a round or practice session is to return the clubhead to the ball on my downswing at the same speed that I took it away.I’m always amazed at how solid the ball flies off the club face with minimal effort.

I consistently lose my confidence pitching 75 yds or a little less from the green.

I need some serious help. I used to be great with my irons, but I started hitting a 6 degree driver several yeras ago, and I think unknowing my swing changed over time and I went from taking nice divots to picking the ball, from about 10 yards above normal on each iron to 10 yards less than normal, and now it’s just horrible! I realized I was rolling under at impact, and have tried to train my hands back to normal with limited success. Do you have any suggestions? And thank you in advance.
